اللّٰهُمَّ اكْفِنِي بِحَلَالِكَ عَنْ حَرَامِكَ
وَأَغْنِنِي بِفَضْلِكَ عَمَّنْ سِوَاكَ

Allāhumma-kfinī bi-ḥalālika ʿan ḥarāmik, wa aghninī bi-faḍlika ʿamman siwāk

“O Allah, suffice me with what You have made lawful against what You have made unlawful, and enrich me by Your grace over anyone besides You.”

This is one of the most beloved supplications for provision, taught by the Prophet ﷺ to Ali (may Allah be pleased with him). It is a complete dua: it asks Allah for sufficiency through lawful means, and for independence from everyone besides Him.

“Whoever makes taqwa a habit, Allah will make a way out for him, and will provide for him from where he does not expect.” — Surah At-Talaq, 65:2–3

Method of recitation

Recite after every obligatory prayer

Especially after Fajr and before starting your day’s work.

Maintain sincerity and consistency

Keep the practice daily, with patience and full trust in Allah.

Pair it with lawful effort

This dua accompanies halal work — it does not replace effort.
