Wazifa for Black Magic: 5 Quranic Duas
A wazifa for removing black magic should be based on the Quran and authentic Sunnah. Muslims can seek Allah’s protection through Quranic recitation, sincere dua, and established practices of ruqyah. Surah Al-Falaq, Surah An-Nas, Surah Al-Ikhlas, and Ayatul Kursi are important passages to learn and recite.
The Quran mentions sihr (magic) in Surah Al-Baqarah 2:102 and teaches believers to turn to Allah. This guide explains relevant Quranic verses, their Arabic text, transliteration, and English translations, along with established practices for morning, evening, and bedtime remembrance. It does not prescribe unsupported counts or promise a guaranteed cure.

Surah An-Nas is recited with Surah Al-Ikhlas and Surah Al-Falaq in established morning, evening, and bedtime practices. Its message directs believers to seek refuge in Allah rather than rely on unsupported spiritual rituals.

Quran reference: Surah Al-Baqarah (2:255).
Roman Transliteration

Ya’lamu ma baina aidihim wa ma khalfahum. Wa la yuhituna bi shai’im-min ‘ilmihi illa bima sha’. Wasi’a kursiyyuhus-samawati wal-ard. Wa la ya’uduhu hifzuhuma wa huwal-‘aliyyul-‘azim.
English Translation
Allah—there is no god worthy of worship except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of all. Neither drowsiness nor sleep overtakes Him. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. Who could intercede with Him without His permission? He knows what is before them and what will be after them, but they cannot grasp any of His knowledge except what He wills. His Seat encompasses the heavens and the earth, and preserving them does not tire Him, for He is the Most High, the Most Great.

When Should You Recite Ayatul Kursi?
A report in Sahih al-Bukhari 2311 describes the virtue of reciting Ayatul Kursi before sleeping. The report mentions protection from Satan until morning.
A narration about reciting Ayatul Kursi after obligatory prayers is also reported in Sunan an-Nasa’i. If you include this practice in a published guide, cite the precise narration and its grading.
Do not present reciting Ayatul Kursi 313 times as an established Sunnah method for removing black magic without reliable evidence for that specific count.
5. Surah Al-Kafirun and Its Meaning
Surah Al-Kafirun is one of the four Surahs commonly called the Four Quls. Its central message is the distinction between the worship of Allah and disbelief. It is important to distinguish this meaning from specific claims about removing magic.
Quran reference: Surah Al-Kafirun (109:1–6).
Roman Transliteration
Bismillahir-Rahmanir-Raheem.
Qul ya ayyuhal-kafirun.
La a’budu ma ta’budun.
Wa la antum ‘abiduna ma a’bud.
Wa la ana ‘abidum ma ‘abattum.
Wa la antum ‘abiduna ma a’bud.
Lakum dinukum wa liya din.
English Translation
In the name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful.
-
Say, “O disbelievers!
-
I do not worship what you worship,
-
nor do you worship what I worship.
-
I will never worship what you worship,
-
nor will you ever worship what I worship.
-
You have your religion, and I have mine.”
Source: Quran, Surah Al-Kafirun 109:1–6.
Although Al-Kafirun is one of the Four Quls, the established morning and evening practice discussed in this article specifically includes Al-Ikhlas, Al-Falaq, and An-Nas. Do not describe all four Surahs as one prescribed Sunnah routine for removing magic without a reliable source.
How to Follow Established Quranic Recitation Practices
The following practices are supported by the cited narrations.
Morning and Evening Recitation
Recite Surah Al-Ikhlas, Surah Al-Falaq, and Surah An-Nas three times in the morning and evening.
Hadith reference: Sunan Abi Dawud 5082. The narration describes these three Surahs being recited three times in the morning and evening.
Before Sleeping
Recite Surah Al-Ikhlas, Surah Al-Falaq, and Surah An-Nas. Cup your hands, blow lightly into them after recitation, and wipe over the parts of your body you can reach, beginning with your head, face, and front of the body. The narration describes repeating this practice three times.
Hadith reference: Sahih al-Bukhari 5017.
Ayatul Kursi can also be recited before sleeping, as described in Sahih al-Bukhari 2311.
These references support particular recitation practices. They should not be expanded into unsupported claims about special counts, guaranteed cures, or the cause of an individual’s difficulties.
What Does the Quran Say About Sihr?
The Quran discusses sihr in Surah Al-Baqarah 2:102. This passage addresses magic and states that harm cannot occur except by Allah’s permission.
Muslims can seek Allah’s help through Quranic recitation, dua, and permissible ruqyah. However, personal difficulties do not prove that someone has been affected by magic. Family disagreements, anxiety, financial problems, and physical symptoms can have many causes.
Avoid accusing another person of practising magic without evidence. Anyone experiencing ongoing physical or emotional symptoms should also consider appropriate medical or professional support.
Ruqyah should not involve shirk, unknown invocations, or exploitation. Be cautious of anyone who demands large sums of money, threatens you, or promises guaranteed supernatural results.
Conclusion
Muslims can seek Allah’s protection through Quranic recitation and established Sunnah practices. Surah Al-Falaq, Surah An-Nas, and Surah Al-Ikhlas have documented roles in morning, evening, and bedtime recitation. Ayatul Kursi is also reported for recitation before sleeping.
Use reliable Quran and hadith references, avoid unsupported fixed-count wazifas, and do not assume that personal problems are caused by black magic. Sincere worship, sound religious guidance, and appropriate practical support can go together.
